EPW - Tiffany Bros & Co, Geneva, "Double Timer" dual-time traveler's watch, 57mm, silver original HC, front shield with initials, white enamel dial with time registers at upper-left and upper-right, subsidiary-seconds at bottom, KWKS (a key is included with this lot as pictured), lever escapement, 15J, gilt mvt, s#11678 within case. A particularly attractive example of this eye-catching watch type.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking sluggishly, overhaul recommended, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, excellent gilt tone, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with light hl from left side to center, light hl from right side to center, two mild fine scratches between upper portion of seconds-register and center, few small edge nicks under bezel; excellent hands, finish loss to tip of minute of upper-right time register; case shows little wear, subtle ding to upper-center of rear which is more evident to inner surface of lid, good engine turning and engraving detail; tight bow, push shows light wear; good glass crystal.
